Fine Art Print Offerings

Important Points About Our Fine Art Prints

  • It may be more economical to do the matting & framing yourself due to packaging & shipping costs.
  • Some prints are signed, limited editions; others are offered as open edition.
  • Epson's Premium Papers Semi Matte, Luster or Somerset Velvet are used for all prints depending on subject matter

Fine Art Prints Offered

I produce what is referred to in the industry as "fine art giclee" prints using the professional-grade Epson 7600 Photographic Printer with "ultrachrome" ink on one of  Epson's Premium Papers (Semi Matte, Luster or Somerset Velvet) depending on subject matter.  This combination is projected to have an archival life of over 100 years when framed and placed under UV-protected glass, based on information from both Epson America, Inc. and Wilhelm Imaging Research, Inc., an independent testing organization.

Fine Art Print Editions

Open Editions: Prints ranging from 8x8 to 11x14 are offered as signed open edition prints.

Limited-Editions are reserved for 16x and larger and are limited to 50 Signed and numbered prints of each size. (200 signed and numbered prints total).  In some cases the larger sizes are not offered.

Matting & Framing

Prints are offered as Prints Only or Framed and Matted.  We choose a single or double mat and Museum quality metal frame.  The matting and framing typically adds 4-5" all around to the print size.  All matting and backing is "acid-free" and the glass is UV protected glass or acrylic.

Prints purchased as Print Only will be rolled and shipped in a protective box.  They should be matted and framed as described above to assure longevity.  Proper framing is critical to maximizing the presentation and archival life of the photo art.
